The late Queen Elizabeth II was "fuming" with Donald Trump when she was alive after he'd refused to follow normal palace etiquette. According to royal expert, Roya Nikkhah, on Tuesday's episode of This Morning , the former president had ignored instruction to drive into Buckingham Palace during a visit. Instead of attending via car, like everyone else, he decided to fly in via helicopter, being the only visitor to ever disobey protocol.

Roya explained this left the Queen reeling after his methods of transportation ruined the surrounding areas during take off and landing. Speaking with ITV hosts Joel Dommett and Rochelle Humes, Roya opened up on the intel she had on the situation, proclaiming that she had been informed on "good authority". She said: "He is the only president, I believe, who refused to drive in and out of the palace, he flew in and out with his helicopters and he scorched her lawns.

" Delving into how the Queen's annoyance had come to Roya's attention, she went on to reveal: "The morning after she saw Scott Morrison, the then Australian Prime Minister - and I'm told this on good authority - that she was fuming." "She showed Scott Morrison, 'he scorched my lawns'. So I can tell you he annoyed her as well," retorted the royal correspondent.

Talk then turned to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry who have currently been touring around Colombia as stand-in hosts Rochelle and Joel hailed the Suits star. A clip featured on the programme, showcasing Meghan speaking fluent while speaking as a panellist at the "Afro Women and Power" event in Cali in Colombia. Rochelle appreciated and praised the duchess for going the extra mile with taking to time to learn an additional language while Joel jested that Harry didn't do the same.

This week, Rochelle and Joel have been filling the void while usual hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley are taking some time out for summer..
