Tuesday, August 20, 2024 The Dominican Republic unveiled its vibrant new tourism campaign, “Taste the Paradise,” at an exclusive event held at the iconic Faena Forum in Miami. With the presence of key destination allies and industry representatives, this initiative invites the world to experience the full breadth of what this Caribbean gem has to offer. This launch marks the beginning of a series of promotional efforts across key cities in the United States, Canada, Latin America, and Europe, reinforcing the Dominican Republic’s commitment to establishing itself as a premier global tourist destination.

The “Taste the Paradise” campaign highlights that the Dominican “flavor” extends beyond just its cuisine. It encompasses the warmth and hospitality of its people, the richness of its culture, and the diversity of its landscapes. The campaign creatives illustrate how every aspect of the country—from traditional dishes made with fresh local ingredients to its stunning waterfalls and mountains—offers a unique and unforgettable experience.



“With this campaign, we reaffirm our commitment to present the authentic essence of the Dominican Republic, inviting everyone to experience a destination that stimulates the senses and offers unparalleled experiences that are enjoyed with each visit,” highlighted David Collado, Minister of Tourism of the Dominican Republic. The United States leads in sending tourists to the Dominican Republic, with 48% of non-resident arrivals from January to June 2024 originating from the U.S., marking an 11% increase compared to the same period in 2023.

The “Taste the Paradise” campaign unfolds across three iconic locations: Punta Cana, Samaná, and Puerto Plata, showcasing landmark spots like the Paseo de Doña Blanca, the Ojos Indígenas Ecological Reserve, and Frontón Beach. This campaign aims to draw travelers from around the globe, inviting them to experience a blend of unforgettable moments alongside fellow adventurers. The campaign’s vibrant colors, native aromas and flavors, and musical rhythms—recognized as part of humanity’s cultural heritage—create an immersive atmosphere, turning each visit into a series of delicious memories to cherish and revisit.
