A road in Seacombe has been shut following a crash. Merseyside Police closed the A5139 Dock Road, Seacombe , in both directions this afternoon following a crash involving a car and van. There's reports of slow traffic in the area as emergency services deal with the ongoing incident.

Dock Road has been shut from A5027 Gorsey Lane to Oakdale Road and it's unclear when it'll reopen at this time. Merseyside Police were called to reports of a crash at 12.25pm.



Two people have sustained minor injuries, police said. "Emergency services attended the scene a road closure is currently in place. Two people involved in the collision sustained minor injuries. Motorists are advised to avoid the area at this time.
