No, Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz Beckham don’t spend an obscene amount of money on clothing. (At least not on a weekly basis.) Brooklyn, 25, set the record straight on the wild rumor that he and Nicola, 29, spend over $100,000 on clothing per week while appearing on an episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen on Monday, November 4.
“[A fan] wants to know if it’s true — OK, this is crazy — that you and your wife spend $105,000 on your combined weekly wardrobe,” Cohen, 56, asked Brooklyn, while reading questions sent in from followers. “No,” Brooklyn replied, shaking his head and laughing. “I was gonna say, what am I looking at here? What kind of coins?” Cohen quipped as he examined Brooklyn’s laid-back outfit, which featured a black sweater, dark pants and a pair of Adidas sneakers.
He then asked Brookyln if he had heard the rumor before, to which the model answered, “No, never.” “Very good that we debunked it,” Cohen replied, moving onto other questions sent in. Although Brooklyn and Nicola are not spending heaps of money on clothing, they still have excellent style.
Last month, the couple coordinated at the Cloud23 Launch Party in Los Angeles, wearing matching all-black outfits. Brooklyn, for his part, rocked a double-breasted blazer and matching straight pants. He topped off his look with patent leather dress shoes and a curly coif.
