Vadodara: Music performances are said to “bring the house down” when they get a rapturous reception. A police complaint has been filed against four DJs for literally bringing down the balcony of a dilapidated building, which allegedly collapsed because of the loud music they were playing. The police said the DJ systems were part of a Dasha Ma procession on Aug 3, when the balcony collapsed.

The procession was going through Dandia Bazaar when a portion of the balcony of a dilapidated building came crashing down due to the vibrations caused by the music systems. No one was injured. “We booked the operators of four DJ systems along with the organizers of the procession.
