Diwali is just around the corner, and on this occasion, we at Zoom have started a special segment, Diwali With Stars, where celebrities share their fondest memories of the festival of lights. Today, we’re joined by Avantika Dasani, the doting daughter of actress Bhagyashree, as she reminisces about family traditions and her favourite Diwali memories. Avantika Dasani on celebrating Diwali with famWhen asked what Diwali means to her, Avantika told Zoom, “Diwali is a lovely festival that is one of the main times when my whole family gets together and we get to have a pooja and we have a very intimate dinner at home which is something that I look forward to.

There are a lot of little traditions like making rangoli, lighting diyas, and the puja itself, obviously, that we've been doing since I was a child. And it's something that I remember, it's something that we still carry on. So, it's a time of having fun and eating lots of mithai.



" Avantika also shared a sweet memory of making rangolis with her mom, Bhagyashree, saying, "When I was a kid, I really enjoyed making rangoli with my mom every year, we would sort of get down to it. And I'm a bit of a perfectionist, but I wasn't actually very good at making the rangoli. So almost every year I would try to make the rangoli, it would get messed up, and I would start crying until mom would come and fix it.

But it never deterred me from trying again next year to make a better one." On the work front, Avantika is gearing up for the re.
