Mihika Shah , daughter of actress Divya Seth and granddaughter of veteran actress Sushma Seth , passed away this week. She was reportedly suffering from a prolonged illness and breathed her last on Monday, August 5, 2024. In a heart breaking post on Facebook, Divya shared the news of her daughter's unfortunate demise.
“With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved Mihika Shah, who has left for her heavenly abode,” read the post which was signed by Divya and her husband, Siddharth Shah. The prayer meet will be held on Thursday, August 8. Divya Seth, known for her roles in films such as Jab We Met , Dil Dhadakne Do, and Article 370, is perhaps best recognized for her appearances in TV shows like Banegi Apni Baat and Dekh Bhai Dekh.
Sushma Seth, Mihika's maternal grandmother, was celebrated for her performances in shows like Hum Log and films such as Dhadkan, Kal Ho Na Ho, and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. Away from the media glare, Mihika was still a student. Divya had recently shared a touching post on Instagram showcasing three generations of women in her family, she posed with daughter Mihika and her mother Sushma Seth in the priceless memory.
