Disney's The Little Mermen will perform at 3 p.m. at Theatre at the Center in Munster.

This tribute band, which is essentially a rock cover band, will entertain audience members with favorite songs from the Disney musical catalog. Among songs in the repertoire are “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King” from “The Lion King,” “Under the Sea,” from “The Little Mermaid” and “Heigh-Ho” from “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.



” Bubbles, balloons and multi-media displayed on screens are part of the act, along with the option of lobby merchandise and face-painting. The show draws a range of ages from Baby Boomer Disney fans to families. Since the band’s inception, Disney’s Mermen have shared the stage with Stevie Nicks, Green Day and Joan Jett.

The group once shared billing with singer Anna Rose Menken, the daughter of Disney composer Alan Menken, who earned eight Academy Awards including “A Whole New World” from “Aladdin” and the title theme song from “Beauty and the Beast.” FYI: Disney’s The Little Mermen will perform at 3 p.m.
