For elite travelers today, luxury is taking on a new definition. Quality, of course, is still key, but the emphasis is increasingly on authentic individualized experiences. Luxury travelers are curious, eager for an inside or behind-the-scenes glimpse, always ready to try something novel, and they appreciate the personal touch.

No one understands this better than The Walt Disney Company, which has launched the innovative Disneyland® Resort Crown Collection. For travelers who love the Happiest Place on Earth, these premium concierge services will heighten a family’s emotional connection with the parks and create lifelong memories. There are three ways to unlock Crown Collection services, beginning with a customized VIP Tour.

The red carpet rolls out with a VIP Tour Guide—a personal travel expert—who helps craft an itinerary that considers Guests’ needs and interests and maximizes their time at the Resort. The guide accompanies the Guests as they explore the Disneyland® Resort sharing stories and little-known insiders’ details along the way. And they ensure that the Guests enjoy priority access to attractions and reserved seating for fan-favorite parades, fireworks or other spectaculars.

This is world-class service with the goal of providing a one-of-a-kind experience that is relaxing, enjoyable and hassle-free. Hotel reservations at a Signature or Club-Level Suite at a Disneyland® Resort hotel are another entry point into the Crown Collection. Beyond their sumptuous appointments, these accommodations bring to life the storytelling expertise Disneyland® Resort is known for, along with a powerful helping of whimsy.

At the Disneyland® Hotel, for example, the suites pay homage to the original lands, attractions and Characters visitors encounter throughout the Park. The Adventureland Suite exudes the romance of exploration, while the opulent Pirates of the Caribbean Suite is filled with a trove of treasure maps, chests and buccaneer memorabilia. At the craftsman-style Disney’s Grand California Hotel® & Spa, the spacious suites take their cue from the Golden State’s landscape wonders, Mount Whitney and El Capitan, for example.

As part of the Crown Collection, these accommodations deliver additional perks, which can range from afternoon tea or evening snacks and desserts to private cabanas at the pool, reserved premium fireworks views, and white-glove assistance from the concierge staff. The third way to access the Crown Collection is by hosting an epicurean experience at 21 Royal. This is much more than a dinner party; there’s a fascinating story behind it going back to Walt and Lillian Disney, who once planned a private apartment for themselves and guests above the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction.

Though that never came to fruition in their lifetime, today the space re-creates their vision, and it welcomes parties of up to 12 to a bespoke culinary journey crafted by the Resort’s renowned chefs and an expert sommelier. The evening begins with signature cocktails offered by butlers in the Empire-style salon, followed by a casual reception in the intimate courtyard. The multicourse dinner, served in the elegant dining room on gold-rimmed china, culminates with dessert on the balcony with a view of the Rivers of America and the Park’s nighttime entertainment.

It’s an experience that immerses Guests thoroughly into the excitement of The Happiest Place on Earth. With access to the Crown Collection comes a curated suite of other personalized and intimate encounters that elevate a visit to the Disneyland® Resort. At the award-winning Napa Rose restaurant in Disney’s Grand California Hotel® & Spa, Chef Andrew Sutton has designed a delectable wine-country menu of fresh seasonal dishes that honors California’s sustainable farmers and artisanal winemakers.

The Hotel is also home to Tenaya Stone Spa, a serene setting for rejuvenation with signature services that incorporate California elements into the treatments. Two other premium restaurants are included among the Crown Collection offerings: New Orleans-inspired dishes are on the menu at Blue Bayou, at the edge of the Pirates of the Caribbean. Carthay Circle Restaurant serves American cuisine in art deco surroundings that evokes a fabled movie palace of the 1920s and ‘30s.

Finally, Guests can extend their individualized visits to the shopping realm. Star WarsTM aficionados may create their very own lightsaber at Savi’s Workshop , in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Or they may assemble a custom Astromech Droid unit at the Droid Depot nearby.

And would-be princesses and princes can undergo royal transformations—from makeup and hairstyle to full-length costumes—at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in Fantasyland. Its experiences like these—the ultimate in hospitality presented with imagination and flair—that add the crowning touch to luxury today.
