Tuesday, August 20, 2024 Disney Cruise Line is excited to reveal new details about one of the seven distinctive zones on the Disney Adventure, scheduled to embark from Singapore in 2025. The Disney Imagination Garden, located at the heart of the ship, will be a magical, immersive valley celebrating 100 years of Disney’s most iconic and heartwarming tales. This vibrant, open-air space will allow guests to step into the worlds of their favorite Disney stories, surrounded by colorful landscapes and beloved characters.
Featuring a breathtaking three-deck-high storybook castle art installation, a first for Disney Cruise Line, the Imagination Garden will also boast a cutting-edge theatrical stage, two quick-service dining options, a charming bar, and a variety of garden-view staterooms. “Disney Imagination Garden is the heart and soul of the Disney Adventure, where our guests will interact with our Disney, Pixar and Marvel stories in a whole new way,” said Laura Cabo, portfolio executive creative director, Walt Disney Imagineering. “The size and scale of this space provided us with so many opportunities to dream big and try new things with our experiential design, creating first-of-a-kind experiences for our guests, from all-new entertainment to delicious dining and lots of magical surprises sprinkled throughout.
Rooted in the rich legacy of Disney storytelling, we’re creating an area that will open doors to new adventures and encourage guests to create magic of their own.” Disney Imagination Garden stands out as one of the seven distinctively themed zones in Disney Adventure, each offering its own set of captivating characters and unique experiences. The other zones include Disney Discovery Reef, San Fransokyo Street, Wayfinder Bay, Town Square, Marvel Landing, and Toy Story Place.

Unveiling Disney Imagination Garden: A Journey into a Storybook World Inspired by the whimsical charm of classic pop-up storybooks, Disney Imagination Garden features landscapes designed to resemble intricate paper cut-outs. The area will be adorned with vibrant foliage, including blooming flowers, whimsical topiaries, tall trees, and cascading vines, complemented by scenic elements like grand trellises and sparkling lanterns.
This enchanting setting will showcase beloved characters and elements from Disney, Pixar, and Marvel franchises. The heart of Disney Imagination Garden will be defined by the Garden Stage at one end and a grand castle artwork at the other. Between these focal points, a promenade will invite families to explore, connect, and enjoy dining experiences.
In front of the stage, an open “lawn” area will lead to a large staircase, designed as amphitheater-style seating, ideal for watching live performances at the Garden Stage. Flanking the staircase, detailed decorative elements will enhance the immersive experience. Decorated arches and lush tree branches adorned with hanging lanterns will enhance the enchanting garden theme of the area.
At the top of the grand staircase, guests will encounter a delightful garden courtyard and bar, enveloped by trees that resemble storybook illustrations and adorned with images of familiar animal friends. In the center of this charming courtyard, a topiary of Mickey Mouse as the Sorcerer’s Apprentice will stand with his wand raised, as if magically bringing to life a garden where beloved characters and tales spring to reality. Families staying in the newly introduced Garden View staterooms will enjoy access to a verandah offering spectacular views of Disney Imagination Garden.
Set the Stage: All-Day Entertainment The Garden Stage will offer an engaging lineup of dynamic shows, character appearances, and magical surprises. Featuring three-deck-high LED screens, cutting-edge special effects, and advanced theatrical technology, this modern performance venue will captivate guests of all ages throughout their Disney Adventure cruise. A highlight of the Garden Stage entertainment will be “Avengers Assemble!” This thrilling stage show will showcase breathtaking stunts and impressive special effects, including the debut of Deadpool on Disney Cruise Line.
The show will feature an epic clash of Marvel superheroes and villains, with appearances by Spider-Man, Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, Thor, Black Panther, The Scarlet Witch, Ms. Marvel, Loki, Red Skull, Taskmaster, and more. At the Family Table: Regional Cuisine Disney Imagination Garden will feature two quick-service dining venues included in the cruise fare. Inspired by the animated realms of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “The Jungle Book” and “Moana,” these eateries will extend the immersive storytelling of Disney Imagination Garden into their uniquely themed dining environments. Both locations will offer indoor and outdoor seating options, with patio diners enjoying picturesque views.
Gramma Tala’s Kitchen – A Taste of the Pacific Step into Gramma Tala’s Kitchen, a vibrant quick-service eatery capturing the essence of “Moana.” The restaurant’s décor, inspired by the Pacific Islands and the film’s artwork, will transport guests to a world of imaginative dining. The menu will highlight the diverse flavors of the Pacific and Asia, offering a culinary journey that reflects the region’s rich cultural tapestry.
Magical Voyages on the Disney Adventure Starting in 2025, the Disney Adventure will embark on three- and four-night cruises from Singapore, providing families with a unique vacation experience where the ship itself becomes a destination. The Disney Adventure promises an unforgettable journey with endless onboard activities, allowing families to enjoy their vacation without ever leaving the ship. After exciting days filled with magical experiences, guests can unwind in elegantly designed staterooms featuring special Disney touches and family-friendly amenities.
Options include rooms with stunning ocean views, scenic promenades, and luxurious concierge accommodations. Concierge guests will enjoy exclusive access to private areas, including an indoor lounge, a spacious sundeck with shaded pools and whirlpools, premium shopping venues, and top-notch spa and fitness facilities. A New Era of Cruising Begins The Disney Adventure will set sail from Marina Bay Cruise Centre for a minimum of five years starting in 2025, through a partnership between Disney Cruise Line and the Singapore Tourism Board.
The 208,000-gross-ton Disney Adventure is expected to accommodate around 6,700 passengers and employ approximately 2,500 crew members..
