Wednesday, August 21, 2024 Disney Cruise Line is set to make waves in Asia with the launch of its first ship homeported in the region. The highly anticipated Disney Adventure will begin its voyages from Singapore in 2025, marking a significant milestone in Disney’s expansion into the Asian market. One of the ship’s most captivating features, the Disney Imagination Garden, has been unveiled as a centerpiece of this new vessel.
Located at the heart of the Disney Adventure, the open-air garden is designed to immerse guests in a magical experience, drawing inspiration from Disney’s century-long legacy of storytelling. The garden will feature a breathtaking three-deck-tall storybook castle, the first of its kind on any Disney Cruise Line ship, surrounded by vibrant, paper cut-out-style landscapes, blooming flowers, and intricately designed topiaries. The Disney Imagination Garden is just one of seven themed areas aboard the Disney Adventure, promising to bring beloved Disney, Pixar, and Marvel characters to life through dazzling entertainment and immersive settings.
A standout feature is the Garden Stage, a state-of-the-art venue equipped with three-deck-high LED screens and special effects. One of the stage’s signature performances, “Avengers Assemble!” will showcase an epic battle between Marvel superheroes and villains, including the debut of Deadpool on a Disney Cruise Line stage. In addition to its entertainment offerings, the Disney Imagination Garden will house two quick-service eateries.
Mowgli’s Eatery, inspired by Disney’s “The Jungle Book,” will offer Indian cuisine with a unique Disney twist, while Gramma Tala’s Kitchen, themed around “Moana,” will serve flavors from the Pacific and Asia. The Disney Adventure’s launch is part of a five-year collaboration between Disney Cruise Line and the Singapore Tourism Board, aimed at bringing Disney’s signature brand of magic to families across the region. The ship will sail from the Marina Bay Cruise Centre, positioning Singapore as a key hub for Disney’s expanding presence in Asia.
