Get ready to return to Arendelle! Over the weekend, Disney shared some new details about the upcoming Frozen III at the fan-event D23 and shared the first concept art of the upcoming movie . Disney Animation’s Jennifer Lee , who wrote and directed Frozen and Frozen II , also shared that the movie will be released in 2027. A few days later, Disney officially announced the date that Frozen III will be released in theaters.

The third installment of the hit franchise will be released in theaters on Nov. 24, 2027, just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday! Frozen was released in 2013 while the sequel was released six years later in 2019. The third, and fourth, Frozen movies were officially announced last year and at the time, Jennifer Lee teased what fans can expect in the new movies !
