Friday, November 22, 2024 Italian Wine Podcast celebrated the successful debut of the Vinitaly Roadshow Kazakhstan 2024, held on November 18 at the prestigious Rixos Almaty Hotel in Almaty. This landmark event marked a new chapter in the growing relationship between Italy and Kazakhstan, placing Central Asia firmly on the global wine map and highlighting its emerging significance in the appreciation of Italian wines. The Vinitaly Roadshow, organized by Veronafiere, aimed to create a platform for local professionals, including importers, sommeliers, distributors, and retailers, to explore the richness of Italy’s wine heritage.
Featuring a diverse portfolio of 260 wines from 36 Italian wineries and 12 regions, the event allowed over 350 attendees to engage in interactive tastings, networking, and masterclasses. The day-long event was a resounding success, showcasing the immense potential of Kazakhstan as an emerging market for wine producers.
