Located on the outskirts of Riyadh, Diriyah holds both historical and cultural significance as it’s known as “The City of Earth” and recognized as the birthplace of Saudi Arabia. The strategic alliances were announced at the World Travel Market (WTM) 2024 in London, a global gathering for the travel industry.

Through these partnerships, Diriyah is being promoted as a high-end, immersive destination for those interested in luxury, heritage, and cultural experiences. The timing and choice of partners highlight Saudi Arabia’s ambition to increase international interest in its emerging tourism sector and drive visitation to its heritage sites, including Diriyah. According to Diriyah Company, the agreements with Abercrombie & Kent—a leading luxury travel company—and Almosafer—a Saudi-based travel platform—will help expand Diriyah’s reach to both domestic and global travelers.
