Rapper Sean Diddy Combs and his legal team have accused the federal government of leaking a video showing him allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura , according to documents obtained by TMZ . The legal filing claims the Department of Homeland Security "orchestrated" the release of the video to CNN. "Diddy's attorneys accuse the feds of misconduct in his criminal case .

Combs' legal team is requesting an evidentiary hearing to determine appropriate action in response to the alleged leak.
The music mogul's lawyers also criticized recent raids on his properties in Los Angeles and Miami. The Department of Homeland Security has not yet responded to these allegations. Combs has consistently denied all accusations of wrongdoing.
