Prosecutors in Tupac's murder trial have filed a opposition to keep Duane "Keefe D" Davis in jail for the murder of the famous rapper , and it includes a wild claim involving Sean 'Diddy' Combs. Davis and his team are trying to get him released on bail but prosecutors say that's a bad idea as they claim Davis once said Diddy offered to pay him a million dollars to kill Tupac. Davis has been behind bars in Nevada since his arrest for the murder of Tupac.

Diddy sued by former adult star accusing him of sex trafficking Diddy's mom Janice Combs in hospital in latest blow for rapper amid sexual assault probe He made the comment - which was recorded and spread over the internet - about Diddy in a 2009 statement to cops. Keefe D told Vegas detectives Diddy had made personal contact with him and his cohorts saying he'd be willing to pay to have Tupac murdered by someone on the streets, which Keefe says he took to mean him and his crew too. Davis also allegedly told cops he and his crew were hanging around Diddy one night when he said in front of a large group he'd give anything to see Suge Knight dead.

Diddy implied he'd pay top dollar for the murder without naming an exact amount. After Tupac was murdered, Keefe told cops he reached out to Diddy through a mutual friend to try to get paid, but he said he never did. Prosecutors argue that the admission by Keefe shows he would consider murdering someone for cash and, therefore, should remain behind bars.

Diddy has denied he had anything to do with Tupac's murder multiple times. He's also denied that he offered money for someone to murder the rapper.
