Blizzard seems to be a roll with Diablo 4 in-game events of late. We’ve had several of them back-to-back, with the most recent having been the biggest Mother’s Blessing yet . If you’re enjoying Season of Witchcraft, you’ll be happy to know that there’s yet another event kicking off soon in the game.
Beyond just being an opportunity to intice you log in - perhaps even take a break from Monster Hunter Wilds for a bit - it’s also going to introduce new enemies to the game. March of the Goblins, the event that dramatically increases the number of Treasure Goblin encounters in the world of Diablo 4, comes back next week . It kicks off Tuesday, March 4 at 10am PT, 1pm ET, 6pm UK and ends Tuesday, March 11 - lasting for one week.
March of the Goblins also comes with its own progression grind, available only for the duration of the event. There’s a Goblin statue in Kyovashad that you can visit to kick off your journey. The more Treasure Goblins you slay, the more reputation you’re going to earn.
This is all pretty standard, but the biggest news here is that Blizzard has designed six new Goblin variants, which you’ll be coming across as you play. Not only that, they’re also going to stick around across Eternal and Seasonal Realms following the event’s conclusion. The new Goblin variants will be a little more rarer than the default version, but they each specialise in dropping certain types of rewards, which should make the chase a little more exciting.
