The vision to create hundreds of jobs and holiday homes at Pleasure Island could start to become a reality in 2025. The former site of the Cleethorpes theme park has become overgrown and a haven for wildlife since the attraction closed eight years ago. New reports have been commissioned ahead of an assessment of planning permission by North East Lincolnshire Council, which could be made in either February or March next year.

YPG Fab 2 Ltd and Seaside Getaways Ltd aim to turn the site into a holiday resort with around 270 luxury lodges and two hotels.
