A shattered mum has paid an emotional tribute to her "amazing" son, who possessed an "infectious laugh", after his sudden death on Saturday. 23 year old Jayke Uzell was discovered unresponsive near Sutton Mill Dam in Sutton Leach, St Helens at approximately 7:25am on November 16. Jayke was pronounced dead on the scene, and authorities are treating his death as unexplained; however, Merseyside Police do not suspect any foul play.
In conversation with the ECHO, Tracey Uzell, Jayke's mother, shared her grief: "He was very popular and the number of flowers that have been left speaks volumes. There are absolutely loads. He was a funny guy with an infectious laugh and always on his phone chatting and laughing with his friends.

He had a big heart and had time for anybody and everybody. He just lit up a room, when he came in he was smiling, he was a happy man.
He was just amazing, Jayke was an amazing son and he was always singing songs. He was just a brilliant son and loved his family to bits. His two brothers were his mates as well as his brothers.
" The community has been deeply moved by Jayke's loss, with friends quickly taking to the internet to express their sorrow. They have also arranged a gathering at Sutton Park in St Helens for 8pm on November 18, repor.
