Biscuiteers, the designer biscuit company renowned for its unique iced treats, is branching out into the north and is eyeing a location in Cheshire. The brainchild of London entrepreneur Harriet Hastings, Biscuiteers was launched in 2007 after Harriet identified a niche in the market for luxury food gifts. The brand has since gained significant popularity for its shaped biscuits, gingerbread men and assorted tin collections, all available online and delivered in their distinctive black and white packaging.
In addition to their online presence, they also have physical boutiques and icing cafes in London, where groups can book sessions to learn how to ice their own biscuits. Harriet, the company's founder, has now announced that the business has secured its first suppliers in the north west for Biscuiteers biscuits. She is also actively seeking a location for the first physical store and icing café in either Manchester or Cheshire.
The brand's products are now available at the renowned Hollies Farm Shops in Little Budworth, Lower Stretton and Tarporley in Cheshire. From the new year, the biscuits will also be stocked in Booths supermarkets across the north, reports the Manchester Evening News . Harriet stated: "We are going into The Hollies Farm shop for the first time and Booths in the new year - we are very keen to increase our footprint across the north west.
" "In London we have two icing cafes, in Notting Hill and Belgravia where you can have a full two hour lesson icing .
