“I was preparing for A-level exams when I suddenly went ‘bang,’ says the 80-year-old mother of two, who comes from Yorkshire, but has lived most of her life in Bray, Co Wicklow. “I couldn’t focus. I couldn’t study, and I didn’t know what to do.
