There is no doubt about it, Denny Hamlin almost blew it in the first round of the NASCAR Playoffs. But he doesn’t plan on doing it again. With Kansas out of the way, how will Hamlin handle Talladega and the Roval? After his lackluster performance at Atlanta to start the playoffs, Denny Hamlin was raising a lot of eyebrows.

It appeared that he was almost afraid to race and he ended up having a terrible points day. It was almost bad enough to sink his postseason chances. Now in the Round of 12 with the points reset and Kansas behind us – is he going to be timid at Talladega like he was at Atlanta? After the Bristol race, Hamlin laid out his strategy for the Round of 12 on Actions Detrimental .



“Yeah so certainly, yeah if you’re someone like myself you want to go to Kansas and be on it. You want to have a big day right off the bat there. Be aggressive at Talladega, try to get some points,” Hamlin said, being interuptted by his cohost and producer and asked to repeat himself.
