Pune: The Sinhagad Road police arrested a delivery boy (18) on the charge of stabbing his 23-year-old friend to death around 9.50pm on Sunday near Zeal College at Narhe over a three-day old quarrel. The incident occurred in the presence of four other friends of the victim and accused.

The accused did not run away till a police team took him into custody. The knife used in the attack has also been collected by the police. Senior inspector Raghavendra Kshirsagar of the Sinhagad Road police said, “The deceased, Aditya Shrikrishna Waghmare, and the assailant, Suresh Parmeshwar Bhilare, hailed from Shirur in Beed district.



They were good friends till their recent quarrel. Both were delivery boys for prominent food chain app and e-commerce firm.” “Three days ago, they had a quarrel over a raincoat belonging to Waghmare,” he said.
