Thursday, December 26, 2024 Delhi Airport has achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first airport in India to connect 150 destinations, solidifying its status as a major global aviation hub. This milestone marks a significant leap for the airport, expanding its network and enhancing travel options for both domestic and international passengers. The achievement is a testament to Delhi Airport’s commitment to operational excellence and passenger connectivity.

A Game-Changer in International Connectivity Earlier this month, Delhi Airport welcomed its 150th destination with the launch of direct flights between Delhi and Bangkok-Don Mueang (DMK) by Thai AirAsia X. The route will initially operate twice a week on an Airbus A330, with plans to increase to four times per week by January 2025. This addition to the airport’s network is just one of many in recent years.



Delhi has added over 20 exclusive international destinations, including cities like Phnom Penh, Bali Denpasar, Calgary, Montreal, and Tokyo Haneda. This expansion has strengthened Delhi’s position as a key player in global aviation.
