There were heavy delays on the A14 after a crash between a lorry and two cars. Emergency services were called to the westbound carriageway between Risby and Kentford at around 3.40pm on Thursday to reports of a three-vehicle crash.
A lane was blocked between Bury St Edmunds and Newmarket and police said the barrier was damaged as a result of the crash. National Highways attended the scene to repair the damaged barrier.
Drivers were been warned of delays and were advised to seek alternative routes..
