Deadpool & Wolverine is all set to release this weekend, but the film is expected to bring up details that go decades back to the original X-men film. The original film belonged to the Fox century universe and Deadpool 3 is set to mark its official entry into the MCU. Apart from the X-men, the film is also expected to recall moments from other movies like X-men Days of Future Past, OG Deadpool movies, Tv series like Loki and many more.

Before the film's release here is a recap of what you need to remember. After being diagnosed with terminal cancer, Wade is approached by a secret program that promises to cure his cancer and grant him superhuman abilities. However, the experimentation includes injecting him with a serum designed to awaken latent mutant genes.

But the only way to awaken it is by extreme stress and near-death experiences. After being burned to death in an explosion, Wade attains regenerative healing power that cures his cancer and gives him the ability to heal from any injury rapidly. Deadpool 2 ending changed the timeline.

Cable gifted his time travel device as a token of appreciation for helping him save his family. It has led to him travelling through time over and over again to save Vanessa from being killed by a hitman. Deadpool 3 teaser also confirmed that Wade went back to save various members of X-Force who had met untimely deaths.

Deadpool can be seen calling them his family that he needs to protect and save once again. It’s really convenient Deadpool 2 ended with Wade saving Vanessa. Which not doubt is gonna piss off the tva and may have been an absolute point/cannon event.

That’s how he ends up in the void finds wolverine and team up to escape — Blazecap 🍉(Hit-moneky era) (@Blazecap1203) Wade's constant trips through time and messing with timelines has seems to be what led the TVA to him, which will eventually land him in the void. The void is also the same place where pruned variants end up. Loki shows different variants of Loki stuck there, as we might also see different versions of X-men and Deadpool, which were caught and pruned by the TVA.

Meanwhile, TVA has gone through a major change in recent releases. Loki has not only saved the multiverse, but TVA is now working to protect the timeline. Loki saving the multiverse could mean that Fox century's X-Men universe could have been one of the many branching timelines which has now been preserved.

And with Loki changing the objective of the TVA (which is now to save all the branched timeline) we could see how they aim to help Wolverine save his timeline as well. Loki season 2 ending fooked me up — Jon - FPL - (@ThatFPLFeeling) Amid all the different branches of the timeline, one still exists when Deadpool and Wolverine originally met in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Wade Wilson has previously mentioned the same in Deadpool 2, however, it is likely that the same will come up again.

Deadpool in the original film though played by Ryan Reynolds looked very different. Instead of knives, he was given a singular sword length claw on each hand to fight. Other controversial changes to his character include laser eyes and sewing his mouth shut.

Wolverine once again met Deadpool from the current MCU universe when he travelled between the worlds to kill that version of himself. However, it is unclear if the Logan we meet in Deadpool & Wolverine will be the same one from X-Men Origins: Wolverine. For the unversed, Hugh Jackman's character has seen and changed several timelines himself.

While he died in the 2017 film Logan, there is another timeline which was saved at the end of Days of Future Past. Meanwhile, the timelines in Deadpool & Wolverine shows a world were all the other X-men have died. Some of these timelines maybe connected but can be confirmed only after the film releases.

What if the Wolverine variant in is from Earth-807128 (the OLD MAN LOGAN timeline)? It had a dystopian setting with supervillains dominating the world after wiping out most of the heroes and could explain why Logan let down "his entire world." — Christopher Marc (@_ChristopherM) The biggest concern for TVA and in turn Logan and Wade Wilson will be MCU grappling with "Incursion" events as shown in Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness. Loki's work may have slowed down the process but it hasn't stopped from universes collide and spill into one another.

The same was also seen in the recent theatrical release Captain Marvel 2 aka The Marvels..
