Disney and Marvel will be submitting Deadpool & Wolverine for several awards for the upcoming awards season. The action-comedy, which of course stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman in the lead roles, has launched campaigns for submissions at the major awards shows, with the categories being revealed for the actors and more. At the Golden Globes , Deadpool & Wolverine is likely a shoe-in for the new Cinematic and Box Office Achievement category, which was introduced this past year. Barbie won the inaguraul award. To be considered for this award, a film must gross at least $150 million, with $100 million of that in the US, or “achieve comparable digital streaming viewership figures recognized by industry standards.
