Since completing their mandatory military service, the DAY6 members — Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon — have announced that they will be embarking on their third world tour. Besides Kuala Lumpur, the quartet will be visiting several others cities in Asia, including Incheon, Bali, Surabaya, Jakarta, Singapore, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Osaka, Tokyo, and Manila. The band further grew in popularity among international listeners with their 2020 album, with releases such as and The album was named one of ten albums defining "K-Pop's monumental year in 2020" by Magazine.
Their eighth mini album, which was released earlier this year on 18 March, marks the band's first comeback since their military enlistment in 2021. The quartet are slated to release a new mini album, , on 2 September ahead of their upcoming world tour..
