While the kids usually have their eyes glued to their parents' every move from a video bunker, Davina unveiled a juicy new twist in Monday's (September 23) episode. The children were given the power to vote one parent into the snug, and they chose 49-year-old Danny from Sussex, who invited Jenny, 51, from Cheshire for some private time but in a show first the couple could turn off the live feed to the bunker, leaving their kids in the dark.

As Danny's son Ellis and Jenny's lad Malachi joined the other kids in watching, the pair decided to hit the off switch on the live feed, sparking a flurry of curiosity about what went down in the snug. Jenny and Danny have been stirring hearts since day one in the My Mum, Your dad countryside retreat, with their chemistry only growing stronger. Yet, their recent chat on ITV's This Morning has fans biting their nails, reports the Manchester Evening News .

Ben Shephard grilled them about the future of their romance, eliciting a telling sigh from Jenny and a teasing reply from Danny: "You've got to keep watching haven't we? " Cat Deeley tried to dig deeper, but Ben pointed out their telling body language, commenting: "They've separated a little bit, I can't quite work it out." Danny teased fans with a little spoiler: "The one spoiler I'll give is that absolutely all of us have come out completely and utterly best friends and will be lifelong friends." Despite his words, eagle-eyed viewers noticed the significant gap between them on the couch, sparking rumours that they might not be as chummy as claimed.

One viewer pointed out: "'It was all filmed so long ago' - what better way to say that you're already distancing yourself from the show and that you're not together and that this is a contractually obligated interview." Another chimed in: "They cannot stand each other. But obviously contractually obliged by ITV to appear on shows like #thismorning to sell this b****cks.

" Another added their two cents, saying: "He doesn't dislike her nearly as much as she dislikes him. #ThisMorning." Meanwhile, someone else made light of the situation with a quip about their seating arrangement: "Jenny and Danny didn't hit it off then? Danny will fall off the end of the sofa in a minute.

" My Mum, Your Dad is available to watch on ITVX.
