Dave Bautista opened up about reuniting with his Guardians of the Galaxy costars...
outside of the Marvel Cinematic Universe . The 55-year-old actor played Drax in the MCU series and most recently reprised the role in 2023′s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 .
In a new interview, he was asked if he would be willing to work with his costars, including Chris Pratt and Zoe Saldana , again. He even broached the topic of following Guardians director James Gunn over to DC to join that universe. Is he down with the ideas? Keep reading to find out more.

That’s kind of my goal,” Dave told ComicBook.com when asked about reuniting with the rest of the cast. “I really want, because I’ve done another project outside of Guardians with Karen Gillan [2019's Stuber ], and I’ve done work with Pom [Klementieff in 2024's The Killers Game ] now.
I would like to work with Chris and Zoe outside of the Marvel Universe, as well.” Is he down to work with James again now that he is the head of the DCU? “Yeah. Of course,” he said.
“As I’ve said, and I’ve been very open to that. I guess it just has to be the right part. But I’m very open to it, and I love James and I would do anything to work with him.
