Born in Worcester on August 20, 1963 to George B Russell and the late Joan Marie (Trottier) Russell. She was a graduate of Oakmount Regional High School.
Darlene was an avid animal lover, breeding the most beautiful ragdoll cats and shih tzu dogs. Darlene enjoyed drawing and sketching until she no longer had the use of her arm. Darlene is survived by her three sons, Christopher of Winchendon, Timothy of Athol and Mitchell of Perterbrough NH.
She also leaves her father George B Russell of Athol, siblings George R Russell of Carroll NH, Denise J Leblanc of Holiday Florida, Donald J Russell of Millbury, Ann Marie Marshall of Phillipston who was her main caretaker, Kevin P Russell of Umatilla Florida, Lori J Bryson of Leominster also one of Darlene’s caretakers and Amanda B Russell of Athol. Darlene also leaves her very dear and loving friend Lee Bowman of Leominster. She was predeceased by her mother Joan Marie Russell in 2021.
