We also see Daredevil and Kingpin sharing a tense dinner, Punisher throwing Daredevil into a locker like the school bully, an assortment of Daredevil masks, and our titular hero thrashing an almost worrying amount of bad guys. Marvel Studios first announced it was making a new Daredevil series in May 2022.

However, the studio would not reveal the show's official title until SDCC in July 2022. Cox previously portrayed Daredevil in several Marvel projects, including the Netflix original series Daredevil, which ran for three seasons on Netflix in addition to The Defenders, Spider-Man: No Way Home, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, and Echo. It was also confirmed that Cox will voice the character in the upcoming animated series Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man (formerly known as Spider-Man: Freshman Year).
