Dancing With the Stars is bringing back guest judges for Season 33– starting with an impressive name for the October 7 Soul Train Night episode. The show, which took a week off from live shows due to the Vice Presidential debate ( much to fan fury ), has been having an “unhinged” season according to fans , especially after including Anna Delvey in the cast, who has been bashing the show since her ouster. However, when the show returns for a special two-night event on October 7, the show is going to return to its traditional format that will feel more familiar to fans.

According to a press release, that judge will be actress Rosie Perez. Perez rose to fame with roles in films like Do the Right Thing and White Men Can’t Jump.



She has also earned Oscar and Golden Globe nominations for films like Fearless and Emmy nominations for In Living Color and The Flight Attendant. However, her career took off as a dancer on Soul Train, a musical variety show which showcased R&B, Soul and hip-hop artists from 1971-2006. Perez joins the panel of judges on the show which consists of Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough .
