The medal winner posted a reel to her Instagram page showing her two sons wearing t-shirts with "I'm going to be a big brother to a baby" written across them, alongside a short clip of herself showing off her baby bump. The couple, who have 15 Olympic medals between them, are already parents to their two boys - Albie, born in 2017, and Monty, aged one, - and Laura has spoken in the past of her devastating experiences with miscarriage. Her announcement post, which she released on New Year's Eve (Tuesday) was instantly flooded with messages of congratulations, including some from the world of professional cycling.



Fellow Olympian Rebecca Adlington wrote "Congratulations", as did fellow GB cyclist Elinor Barker. The video, which featured Donna Lewis's I Love You Always Forever song, included shots of Albie and Monty standing by the family Christmas tree, before cutting to a beaming Laura dressed in a black vest and leggings looking down at her prominent bump.
