Daal Roti is the story of four youngsters who migrate from the villages to the cities for better opportunities. They realize their mistake when life becomes hard in the cities. That’s the time they realize that farming is good enough to support them and their families and that they made a mistake by sacrificing their land and the agricultural income in pursuit of the mirage of riches in the cities. The drama also talks of the various beneficial schemes of the government of India for farmers.
