COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ) Police put up crime scene tape after a car crash in northeast Columbia on Thursday night. At least five officers and K-9 unit responded to Godas Drive near Valley Creek Lane around 8 p.

m. An ABC 17 News photojournalist saw two vehicles at the scene. Both vehicles appeared to have damage to the driver side doors.



Police also put down multiple evidence markers in the area. This is the second time this week police have responded to the Godas Drive and Valley Creek Lane intersection. Officers found evidence of gunfire on Tuesday night .

ABC 17 News has asked the police department if the two investigations are related. According to online dispatch records, Columbia police have been dispatched to Godas Drive 77 times in 2024. Of those calls, 11 have been to the Valley Creek Lane intersection.
