It has become a trend among celebrities to buy high-end apartments and flats in some of the posh areas in Mumbai. Now, young cricketer Shreyas Iyer too has become part of this real estate boom. Shreyas and his mother have reportedly bought a brand-new apartment worth a whopping Rs 2.

9 crore at the Worli area in Mumbai. The apartment is on the third floor of the Triveni Industrial CHSL at Adarsh Nagar in Worli. The apartment which has an area of 525 sqft reportedly cost Rs 55,238 per square foot.



Shreyas’ real estate investments have been in the news earlier too. He owns a luxury flat at the Lodha Towers which is one of the tallest buildings in Mumbai. The apartment that has an area of 2380 sqft is on the 48th floor of the building is developed by Microtech Developers.

Shreyas reportedly paid Rs 49,817 per square foot for this apartment. Besides, three parking slots too have been allotted for the cricketer. A post shared by Shreyas Iyer (@shreyasiyer96) Worli is one of the real estate havens in Mumbai where luxury apartments that cost up to Rs 1.

5 lakh per square foot are up for sale. Most investors see Worli as a safe area for real estate investment, mainly due to its proximity to the commercial and business centres of Mumbai. Besides, the presence of one of the biggest real estate developers in the country too has helped the area lure investors.

Interestingly, real estate developers include apartments that are as small as 500 square feet in their projects. The numbers show.
