Crash K-Drama Confirms Season 2 By Starring Lee Min-Ki and Kwak Sun-Young, the comedy crime-action K-drama is set to return with a second season. The production company behind the hit series, AStory, recently confirmed the show’s season 2 on August 21, 2024. The writer and director of season 1, Oh Soo-Jin and Park Joon-Woo, will also return to reprise their positions for the upcoming season.

Crash has garnered positive responses from viewers globally since its premiere on ENA and Disney Plus on May 13, 2024. The hilariously woven storyline and the action-packed and electrifying chase scenes made the series engaging for viewers. Naturally, fans are now excited to see how the upcoming new season will unfold.



Crash K-drama to run for season 2, production company confirms As mentioned earlier, on Wednesday, the production company announced that the crime-action comedy K-drama Crash will have a second installment. The series centers around a traffic crime investigation team, aka TCI, who embark on a journey to combat the increasing traffic crimes. Apart from Lee Min-Ki and Kwak Sun-Young, season 1 also starred Heo Sung-Tae, Moon-Hee, Lee Ho-Cheol, Baek Hyun-Jin, Oh Eui-Sik, and more.

As reported by , while discussing the second season of the K-drama, writer Oh Soo-Jin said, “In season 2, not only will the chemistry between the TCI team members unfold, but also the colorful stories of the characters at Namgang Police Station will unfold.” The writer then added, “We will also cover more diverse traffic crime cases, so please look forward to it.” Meanwhile, director Park Joon-Woo has also commented on the show’s renewal.

He said, “Thanks to the support of viewers, we will work hard to make a long-running Korean-style seasonal investigation series with more diverse episodes and upgraded car action.” Hence, it seems like the audience is in for a thrilling new season. In the meantime, viewers can watch season 1 on Disney Plus.
