MOUNT PLEASANT — A new craft beer bar utilizing a bottom-up draft dispensing system is coming to the Carolina Park neighborhood. From the owners of Community Crafthouse on Daniel Island, Crafthouse North will open at 901 Warrior Way in 2025. The Mount Pleasant establishment will share a brand new strip center with four other businesses, including Yoga Circle and Cremino Gelato & Caffe.
Sushi and craft beer collide at new Charleston brewpub Community Crafthouse Tessa Miller, who owns Community Crafthouse with her husband Todd, previously managed the bar at Indigo Reef Brewing Co. The couple plans to mostly replicate their Daniel Island concept in Mount Pleasant, with a few small changes. They’ll offer 12 rotating draft beers alongside an expansive canned offering and frosé.
Wine and cocktails will also be served on tap. From sashimi to cooked and raw sushi rolls, poke and gyoza, Community Crafthouse resident pop-up Max Sushi Charleston has brought a well-rounded seafood offering to the Daniel Island location. Dishes are artfully displayed on shelves with dry ice, an escape from typical brewpub fare.
Owners Komang Artana and Cindy Rossa will expand alongside the Millers, bringing their sushi — plus new additions like ramen — to Crafthouse North. Charleston's newest wine bar opens in Cannonborough-Elliotborough downtown. Here's what to expect.
Outsourcing the kitchen has allowed the Millers to better manage labor costs. Most importantly, sushi has been a hit among cust.
