This thrilling competition will mark the beginning of the 2024-2025 World Cup season and will be held from Thursday, December 12 to Sunday, December 15, 2024. The vertical race challenges participants to a grueling 500-meter ascent over 3.

2 kilometers, from the Alpinium in Courchevel Le Praz to the Croisette in Courchevel 1850. Over the past fourteen years, nearly 25,000 racers have tackled this formidable course, making it one of the most iconic vertical races in the ski mountaineering world. The return of the Ski Mountaineering World Cup to Courchevel is particularly significant as it will take place at the renowned Émile Allais slalom stadium.
