A CHESHIRE couple who spent Covid building their modern three-bedroom home have put it on the market for £335,000. Natalie Woodall and Nick Gowrie started work on their Rudheath house in June 2019 and completed the project in August 2020. The detached family-home, in Shipbrook Road, has three bedrooms, underfloor heating and a private two-car driveway.
It was the couple’s first time building a house, helped by Nick’s engineering background and Natalie’s history in fashion and business. Nick said: “I’m not a builder. I viewed the project like work, engineers specialise in solving problems.
” When asked about how he found the process, Nick said: “Don’t be naive to the fact that it is hard. Me and Natalie have a strong relationship. “We had a great team of people to lean on and it would have been very difficult to do it without them.
“You’re only as strong as your weakest link.” The house has three bedrooms, but the adaptable dressing room can be easily transformed into a fourth bedroom thanks to the couple’s thoughtful design. The luxurious master bedroom boasts an en-suite with His & Hers wash basins.
The open plan living area has bi-folding doors that open out to the rear garden, creating a spacious indoor-outdoor experience. When asked if they would do it again, Nick said: “Something that I try and live by is; don’t settle in your box, you can create other opportunities for the things you want. “I’d definitely do it again.
