During its trail run, the country's first 20 coach Vande Bharat train clocked 130 KM on the Ahmedabad-Mumbai route while crossing Maninagar level crossing, DRM Ahmedabad said. New Delhi: It seems the Indian Railways is all set to introduce the country’s first 20 coach Vande Bharat train on the Ahmedabad-Mumbai route. The DRM Ahmedabad posted a video of the Orange beauty running at a speed of 130 KM during its trial run, while passing through Maninagar level crossing on the Ahmedabad-Mumbai route.
The train run will include testing of track parameters, signalling aspects and other features. If the trial run is successful, the Railways will soon introduce the 20 coach Vande Bharat on this and other busy routes. The occupancy rate in Vande Bharat Express is very high on Mumbai-Ahmedabad route.

The train halts at following stations – Borivali (BVI), Vapi (VAPI), Surat (ST), before reaching its final destination, Vadodara Jn (BRC). The 22962 Ahmedabad-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express starts its journey from Ahmedabad at 6:10 am and reaches Mumbai Central at 11:35 am..
