The method sees minimal disturbance to habitats and helps to conserve nature while still providing for the demand for products. But as the episode progressed, fans of the show were left horrified when Joe rolled up his sleeves and looked into cow manure. The bizarre segment came as the host was looking to dung beetles and the positive impact they have on local ecosystems.
Speaking to Patrick Hancock, an ecologist, Joe combed his way through heaps of cow dung, joking with his partner: "There's definitely a herby content." But fans of the show were not the biggest fans of the segment as they rushed to social media to complain. "Playing with poo?!" one livid viewer fumed.

However, some fans were left wanting more when the BBC released its broadcasting schedule for the week, only to find that the Olympics would not be featuring heavily on its channels, instead reverting to its usual programmes.

The show will now air on Sunday evening at 5:10pm for its new temporary home for the next fortnight.
