The former South Carolina winter home of late cosmetics mogul Elizabeth Arden is on the market for $3.2 million, less than three years after its last sale. The Canadian-born businesswoman, born in 1888, built a legacy with her empire that lives on today.

Brand ambassador and Oscar-winning actress Reese Witherspoon regularly raves about her products. While Arden's name is known worldwide, it's a lesser-known fact that she owned a Summerville home and would repaint the front door a different color for each season. She owned the Victorian-style property from 1938 until 1954.
