Georgia May Foote , who played Katy Armstrong on Coronation Street 's iconic Cobbles, updated her Instagram page for her GMFNails business on Saturday with troubling news of her medical issue.
She uploaded a text slide to her Instagram Stories with the words: "Thank you. "Clients booked in last week, I just wanted to let you know that I had last minute surgery today. "I'm not sure what the recovery is like or how quick I will be able to return.
