Mason found guilty on Coronation Street Mason made his return this week (Image: ITV) The attacker of Coronation Street's Mason Radcliffe has been revealed, amid his return to the cobbles. The soap bully, played by Luca Toolan, first rocked up last year - and caused plenty of drama. Viewers of the soap were left horrified as they watched him terrorise Maria Connor’s (Samia Longchambon) young son, Liam Connor (Charlie Wrenshall).

After months of bullying his fellow students, Mason built quite a reputation for himself both inside and outside of the school grounds. And things took a dramatic turn on the ITV soap when Mason pulled a knife on Liam. Things got so bad for Liam though, that he thought about taking his own life.

However, in April, Mason was sent to a Young Offenders centre for threatening Liam with the knife. But over in the soap this week, the soap bully was back on the cobbles, after getting released from the Young Offenders centre.

During Monday’s episode (July 20) Stu (Bill Fellows) is shocked to find a bloody and battered Mason near the precinct. Stu, who had no idea who was Mason was and his history, quizzed the bully on what had happened to him. “One or the other, I’ve got two,” he revealed. Feeling sorry for him, Stu then insisted Mason come back to Speed Daal to get cleaned up and have something to eat. It’s fair to say fans were quick to share their thoughts on Mason’s comeback.

On X, formerly known as Twitter, one person said: “Mason's had a right good beating. I’ve got zero sympathy for that nasty piece of work!” A second penned: “Not sure why they decided to run Mason's story again. He'll never change.

He'll be a repeat offender. Character should never have come back.” A third wrote: “There's no storyline in the world that is gonna make me feel sorry for Mason.

Absolutely not.” Related articles Coronation Street fans 'work out' when Lauren gives birth - and it’s soon Corrie's Sue Cleaver unrecognisable in hospital snap as she shares health update Corrie fans gobsmacked as Craig Tinker’s 'twin brother' spotted on soap Corrie icon Amanda Barrie sparks concern with alarming tweet Corrie's Colson Smith sends fans wild as he unveils hair transplant results.
