The actor, 31, is best known as Chesney Brown on the ITV soap, and has competed on All Star Family Fortunes. Talking to This Morning , Sam said: "I'm nervous but excited to get going.

" He added: "It's going to be nice for the public to see me for me rather than Chesney." The announcement comes after Olympic rower Sir Steve Redgrave, Traitors star Mollie Pearce and former TOWIE star Ferne McCann are confirmed to be joining the show. Sir Steve, 62, told ITV’s This Morning that the production team has told him not to practice skating until the first official training session for the reality show.



Traitors star Mollie Pearce was the second contestant announced. The model, known for making it to the final of the psychological game show until she was betrayed by her friend Harry Clark, told ITV’s Lorraine that she “hasn’t started” practising yet. Speaking about her experience, she added: “So my mum used to take me skating but I haven’t done it in years.

” Mollie was also was sent a message by fellow stoma bag user, the radio DJ Adele Roberts. Former TOWIE star Ferne McCann wass the first contestant announced for the next series of the ITV show. She said on Good Mo.
