An amphitheatre, vineyards, sea stacks and dreamy waterfalls – there are some truly beautiful sights to be seen and plenty of fascinating places to explore here in Cornwall. With so much to offer, it’s no surprise that so many people choose to come to Cornwall to enjoy their holidays. Of course many other countries have incredible landscapes and landmarks.
In fact, we’ve found there are several places here in Duchy that bear a striking resemblance to other world famous locations. Has the clear sea at Porthcurno ever made you think of somewhere much more tropical? Has the sight of the Saint Michael's Mount ever made you think of another (very) famous landmark? We've found bits of Cornwall in France, Greece and the USA. Everyone knows how similar those two are.
Even their names are the same. They might not look exactly the same, but the important thing here is that you don't have to fly to Greece to see a stunning amphitheatre. Si-mi-lar.
