The Block’s Kylie and Brad were spotted together at the Melbourne Cup just two days after viewers witnessed Kylie abandon her husband on the show during a dramatic exit. Fans of the show were caught by surprise when the couple were seen with the rest of the cast sporting glamourous outfits for the big race at Flemington. The group photo was posted by Instagram account The Blockinator Blog which posts regular updates about the show’s happenings to its more than 20,000 followers.
Their appearance comes after Kylie caused chaos on Sunday night’s episode when she stormed off the show for good following a tense exchange with host Scott Cam. Kylie kicked her team of tradies out, railed against the judges and Cam and fled the scene barefoot after threatening the show’s crew. Kylie promised she wouldn’t return for auction day, even if it meant she forfeited any profits from the season.
Kylie and Brad’s season on The Block has been turbulent from the start but tensions finally erupted over a “flirting” controversy. Kylie heard Brad making “inappropriate” comments to fellow contestant Mimi and briefly fled the show to return home to Cairns. While she did eventually come back to the production, it didn’t mean she’d forgiven her husband.
