Constance Hall’s other half, Denim Cooke, has landed himself in hospital after falling from a roof. The controversial mother-of-seven announced in her Instagram stories on Saturday night. “Fell off a bloody roof again, Dezi” she wrote across the clip.

Journalism for the curious Australian across politics, business, culture and opinion. The video shows Denim lying on an examination table, clutching his right arm in pain. The extent of Denim’s condition or how the accident occurred is not yet understood.

The incident comes almost four years after Denim was caught up in a terrifying motorbike crash. In August 2020, he was airlifted to the trauma ward at Royal Perth Hospital with seven broken ribs, punctured lungs, multiple infections and a brain injury after coming off his motorbike. “He just completely checked out of life after the accident,” Constance said at the time.

“I think when he woke up from the accident, I was very excited. And there was this sort of false hope,” she added. “I spoke to the doctors, and they said Denim doesn’t have motivation anymore.

The frontal lobe damage has taken away any of that he might have had before.” Denim went and lived with “his bestest friend,” who lives in Esperance, to repair the toll his injuries had taken on the couple’s relationship. “I spoke to him the next day, and there was just this light in his face .

.. like he was just his old self again.

He was clear. He was awake and alive and around lovely people.
